Day 4 at the Paris Masters

Day 4 at the Paris Masters saw the shock defeat of Andy Murray to Jerzy Janowicz 5-7 7-6 6-2. Murray made mistakes in the second set which allowed Janowicz to capitalise on Murray's poor performance to win the tie-break. In the third set Janowicz carried on his run of good form and took the deciding set 6-2 to make it through to the quarter-finals.

Elsewhere at the Paris Masters Michael Llodra defeated Juan Martin Del Potro 6-4 6-3. Llodra broke serve twice to win in just 69 minutes ending Del Potro's 11 match winning streak.

Tomas Berdych defeated Kevin Anderson 1-6 6-3 6-4. Berdych withstood 15 aces from the South African player and improves to a 59-19 match record on the season and will join Andy Murray next week at the ATP World Tour Finals.

Janko Tipsarevic looks on course to qualify for the ATP World Tour Finals after he ended Juan Monaco's hopes with a 6-3 3-6 6-3 victory.

Sam Querrey dispatched Milos Raonic for 6-3 7-6. Raonic lost serve in the eighth game of the first set and could not match Querrey in the tie-break.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has defeated Nicolas Almagro 7-6 7-6 after both sets were taken to tie-breaks. Almagro seemed to fight back in the second set tie-break but Tsonga powered through and clinched victory. Tsonga will play either David Ferrer or Stanislas Wawrinka in the quarter-final.

David Ferrer and Stanislas Wawrinka are currently playing. Baseline will keep you informed of the result.
