Swedish Open: Day one from Bastad

Fifth seed Grigor Dimitrov came through a tough first round match at the SkiStar Swedish Open in Bastad.

On the opening day of the tournament in Bastad, Dimitrov came back from a set down against Elias Ymer 5-7 6-2 6-4.

The Bulgarian reached the semi-finals of the ATP 250 Clay Court tournament last year and will face either Filippo Volandri or Jurgen Zopp in the second round.

Halacio Zeballos, the seventh seed at Bastad, lost to fellow Argentine Carlos Berlocq after failing to capitalise on seven break points in a 6-4 6-3 loss.

Argentine Martin Alund defeated the Swedish wildcard Markus Eriksson in a three hour battle 6-2 3-6 10-6.
