Swedish Open: Day three from Bastad

Grigor Dimitrov is through to the quarter-finals of the SkiStar Swedish Open after dropping the first set to Filippo Volandri and fought back.

After dropping serve twice in the opening set Dimitrov cruised through the final sets to claim a 2-6 6-1 6-4 victory over Volandri.

Juan Monaco defeated Swiss qualifier Henri Laaksonen 6-4 6-2 in just one hour and fifteen minutes. Monaco won the clay court event in Düsseldorf in May.

Albert Ramos emerged from the all Spanish match as he defeated world top 30 player Tommy Robredo. In a surprise 6-3 6-4 win for Ramos, Robredo failed to win any break points against his fellow Spaniard.
