Swedish Open: Berlocq wins his first ATP Tour title

Carlos Berlocq has won his first ATP Tour title after winning the SkiStar Swedish Open in Bastad.

Berlocq defeated Fernando Verdasco in the final 7-5 6-1 in just one hour and 38 minutes.

In the opening set Berlocq showed little nerves when he won the first two games. After three service breaks in a row Berlocq took a 4-1 lead before Verdasco fought back.

Berlocq failed to convert two set points when at 5-4 on Verdasco's serve. It was third time lucky for Berlocq though who took the break from Verdasco and won the first set.

On his way to victory and dominating in the second set, Berlocq broke Verdasco in the second game and sixth game to win his first ATP Tour title.
