Andy Murray beats Dimitrov in Miami

Andy Murray has defeated Grigor Dimitrov in straight sets in Miami to advance into the fourth round of the Miami Masters.

The US Open champion over came a shaky start to knock Dimitrov out of the tournament with a 7-6 7-3 6-3 win.

Murray lost serve twice at the start of the game before saving two set points at 2-5.

In the next game Dimitrov made three double faults which allowed Murray back into the set, which he took on a tie-break.

The second set saw Murray brake early, which set him up to stay comfortably ahead to clinch his place in the fourth round.

Dimitrov, the world number 32, made a confident start to break Murray's service early in the first set before repeating the trick to take a commanding lead.

But Murray held his nerve on two set points to thwart his opponent, who nervously sent down three double faults to give the Scot a foothold in the set.
The 21-year-old Bulgarian lost the set on a tie-break and then lost his serve in the second game of the next set.
Murray spurned a chance to move decisively ahead, wasting two further break points in the sixth game.
Dimitrov then managed to save two match points on the Scot's serve but put a backhand into the net on the third.
