A dominant Bartoli cruised to a 6-1 6-2 victory over the Belgian to reach her second Wimbledon final.

Bartoli was a finalist six years ago at SW19, but lost out to a dominant Venus Williams in 2007.

The Frenchwoman will play either former finalist Agnieszka Radwanska or 23 seed Sabine Lisciki in Saturday's final.

"I just cannot believe it, I played so well," Bartoli told BBC Sport.

"I think she was a bit injured. She deserves a lot of credit, but it must be hard to be injured in the semi-final at Wimbledon.
"I saw the ball like a football. I hit it cleanly from the start. To play so well in the semi-final at Wimbledon is an amazing feeling."

Both players throughout the match had an issue with their first serve, either hitting the net or going to wide. But Bartoli's ground strokes caused issues for Flipkens in the opening games.
An ace that went wide from Flipkens gave Bartoli the first set in just 27 minutes and the Frenchwoman's dominance didn't look to ease as she got off to a flying start in the second set.
Bartoli broke once again at 3-0 in the second and Flipkens called a trainer to court to take a look at a knee injury.
Flipkens looked like she was beginning to fight back as she got one of the breaks back, but a successful seventh lob put Bartoli 4-1.
A smash of the ball from Bartoli gave her victory in one hour and 2 minutes and a place in the Wimbledon final.
